RETURN & REFUND POLICY: GUIDE’S CHOICE PRO SHOP

At Guide's Choice Pro Shop, we want you to be thrilled with your gear. If you’re not completely satisfied, we are here to help.

1. THE 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • In the original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

HOLIDAY EXCEPTION: Items purchased between November 1 and December 24 are eligible for return or exchange until January 31 of the following year.

  • Electronics Note: Fish finders and other electronics must be unopened in their original factory seal to be eligible for return due to their sensitive nature.
  • Perishables: For safety and hygiene, biodegradable lures and liquid scents are non-returnable.
  • Restocking Fee: Clearance items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee if a return is accepted.

3. HOW TO START A RETURN

In-Store Returns

Bring your item and proof of purchase to our Eagle River location:

Online Returns

  1. Request return, or
  2. Contact us at store@guideschoiceproshop.com or 715-477-2248 within 30 days.
  3. We will provide a return shipping label.
  4. Cost: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect. The cost of the return label will be deducted from your final refund.
  5. Fishing Rod Shipping: Rods must be returned in the original shipping tube or a container of equal strength. Guide's Choice Pro Shop is not responsible for rods broken during return transit due to improper packaging.

4. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

  • Refund Timeline: Once we receive and inspect your item, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges: We offer exchanges for different sizes or colors (subject to availability). Online exchanges follow the same condition requirements as returns.

5. WARRANTY VS. DAMAGE

  • Manufacturer Warranties: If your gear fails due to a manufacturer defect, we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer for a warranty claim.
  • Accidental Damage: Returns/warranties do not cover gear that has been damaged by "high-sticking," car doors, accidental drops, or improper storage by the customer.
