• The 6'6" Options (Medium & MH): These are the "accuracy" rods. The shorter length makes them ideal for target casting around docks, overhanging brush, or tight timber where precision is more important than distance.

• The 7'0" Medium (HMG70M / HMGPX70M): The gold standard for versatility. This rod is long enough to provide excellent casting distance for open-water search baits, yet sensitive enough for finesse Texas rigs and smaller jigs.

Pro Tip: Because these are the Prior Generation models, they feature a slightly stiffer, more traditional "Fast" taper compared to some of the newer, softer-tip designs. This makes them exceptional for "bottom-contact" baits like worms and jigs. The extra stiffness in the mid-section helps you drive a heavy gauge hook home during a deep-water hookset!
