🎣 Pro Tip: The "CountDown" Method

To master this lure, cast it out and begin counting (one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand...) as soon as it hits the water. If you feel it hit the bottom at "ten," you know the water is 10 feet deep. On your next cast, count to eight or nine and then begin your retrieve. This ensures your lure is swimming just inches above the bottom—the prime territory for big Walleye and bottom-hugging Trout.
