Drifter Tackle: Believer 8" Straight
The Legend That Triggers Record Catches
The Believer is one of the most versatile lures available to the modern angler. For over 25 years, its unique shape and erratic action have consistently produced record catches for trophy hunters worldwide. Designed to trigger strikes from predators that have "seen everything," the Believer is a mandatory component of any serious musky or pike arsenal.
Dual-Eyelet Versatility
The hallmark of the Believer is its unique dual-eyelet design, which allows you to change the entire profile and depth of the lure simply by switching your snap:
-
Shallow Eyelet: Allows the bait to be worked from the surface down to approximately 6–8 feet. Use this for surface waking over thick vegetation or shallow cranking.
-
Deep Eyelet: Drives the bait into the 8–12 foot range while trolling, or allows for deeper rhythmic twitching and jerking through emerging weed growth.
One Bait, Every Technique
The Believer’s unique construction allows it to adapt to any situation on the water:
-
Surface/Shallow: Retrieve it slowly with the shallow eyelet to create a seductive wake over heavy cover.
-
Jerk & Twitch: Work it aggressively through emerging weeds; its erratic "searching" action is a proven trigger for following fish.
-
Crank & Troll: Cast or deep troll it into rocks, timber, and heavy cover. Its durable build is designed to deflect off structure and withstand violent strikes.

Pro Tactic: The "Speed-Troll Break"
The Believer is an exceptional trolling lure, especially at speeds between 3–5 mph. When trolling deep breaks or rocky shorelines, use the deep eyelet to keep the bait in the strike zone. Periodically "pop" the boat into neutral for two seconds before accelerating back to speed. This causes the Believer to stall and begin a slow rise before darting forward again—a move that often triggers a trailing musky to commit.
For over a quarter-century, the Believer has been the go-to for world-class predators. Put this 8-inch legend to work on your next trip.
