Cortland Tin Split Shot Large Assorted Pack

Upgrade your terminal tackle setup with an eco-friendly depth control solution. The Cortland Tin Split Shot Large Assorted Pack gives fly fishers and light-tackle anglers a non-toxic, lead-free option to sink flies, nymphs, and baits directly into the strike zone.

Engineered with soft tin, these reusable weights attach firmly to your tippet or leader without fraying or pinching your mono. The natural matte finish minimizes underwater flash, keeping stealthy trout and panfish from spooking in clear water. Equipped with dual non-slip ears, each split shot easily opens and repositions using simple pliers, making on-the-water fine-tuning effortless.

Pro Tip: When rigging for tight-line nymphing or drifting through variable currents, attach 2–3 smaller split shot spaced an inch apart rather than one single large shot. Spacing out your weights reduces snags on rocky bottoms and produces a significantly more natural drift through the water column.
