Harvey Baits Javelin: Premium Handcrafted Cedar Musky Dive & Rise
Trigger explosive strikes from apex predators with the Harvey Baits Javelin, a classic dive-and-rise bait designed for serious musky anglers. Handcrafted from select cedar wood, the Javelin produces an irresistible erratic action, plunging sharply on the pull and floating upward on the pause to mimic a struggling baitfish.
Engineered for maximum versatility, each lure features a recessed, removable belly weight to quickly adjust your depth zone, along with an adjustable stainless steel tail to fine-tune your rise angle and cadence. Every single bait is individually lake-tested and hand-tuned before reaching your tackle box, guaranteeing flawless performance straight out of the package. Finished with top-tier paints and heavy-duty protective clear coats, the Javelin is built to withstand punishing strikes season after season.

Pro Tip
Master the Pause to Trigger Strikes: Muskies rarely hit a dive-and-rise bait mid-pull; the vast majority of strikes happen during the hang time on the rise. Give the Javelin two or three sharp rod sweeps to drive it down, then pause for 2 to 4 seconds. Watch your line closely as the bait slowly floats upward—this vulnerability is what triggers big followers into committing. Adjust the stainless steel tail upward if you want a faster, steeper rise, or downward for a longer, subsurface stall.
