Mepps Aglia Dressed 1/12 oz (#0)

The Gold Standard Ultra-Light Spinner for Finesse Anglers

Engineered for precision and unmatched action, the Mepps Aglia Dressed 1/12 oz (#0) is a timeless favorite for ultra-light panfish, trout, and bass fishing. Featuring the classic法国 (French) blade design, this spinner instantly begins its continuous 60-degree rotation the second it hits the water. Its high-frequency vibration and intense flash send distress signals straight to the lateral lines of nearby gamefish, triggering instant reaction strikes.

This ultra-light model comes dressed with extra natural squirrel tail or bucktail hand-tied directly onto a razor-sharp treble hook. The added tail dressing provides a larger, pulsating profile in current, conceals the hook shank, and entices finicky predators into engulfing the lure rather than short-striking.

Key Features & Benefits

• Instant Rotation: Precision-machined French blade spins continuously even on ultra-slow retrieves or during slow drops.

• Hand-Tied Dressing: Genuine tail fur accent adds life-like swimming action, buoyancy, and visual attraction in the water column.

• Low-Frequency Vibration: Custom-engineered shaft and brass blade combination produces distinct sonic signals fish can detect in murky water.

• Solid Brass Hardware: Heavy-duty wire shaft and brass body components resist bending when handling aggressive fish or snags.

• Ultra-Light Precision: Perfectly balanced frame allows for long, accurate casts using light monofilament or fluorocarbon setups.

Pro Tip

Pro Tip: When fishing moving water for wary trout, cast the Aglia upstream at a 45-degree angle rather than straight downstream. Retrieve just fast enough to keep your line taut and the blade ticking; this allows the dressed spinner to drift naturally down the current at depth, imitating a struggling baitfish or swimming aquatic insect right through deep pocket water and under undercut banks.
