Musky Innovations Under Dawg Mag Plus
When the big ones go deep, you need a bait that can join them. The Musky Innovations Under Dawg Mag Plus was specifically engineered to hunt in the depths where traditional soft plastics struggle to stay. While most baits naturally want to plane toward the surface, the Under Dawg is designed to get down fast and hold its position in the strike zone.
Featuring a slimmed-down body profile and a unique twin vertical tail design, this bait offers a high-vibration signature and superior hydrodynamics. The thinner body not only helps the bait slice through the water column to reach deeper structure, but it also significantly improves your hookup percentage by allowing the hooks to penetrate more effectively upon a strike.
Why the Under Dawg Mag Plus is Your Deep-Water Solution:
-
Deep-Dwelling Design: Engineered to sink rapidly and stay deep, making it the perfect choice for targeting muskies marked on your electronics in deep open water or off steep breaklines.
-
Twin Vertical Tails: The double-tail configuration generates a high-frequency vibration and a distinct visual pulse that predators can home in on in low-light, deep-water conditions.
-
Optimized Hooking Percentage: The slim body profile ensures that when a fish chokes the bait, there is less plastic "bulk" to get in the way of the hooks.
-
Heavy-Duty Hardware: Equipped with two massive 7/0 hooks, built to handle the torque and power of a trophy-class fish.

š” Pro Tip: The "Graph-and-Go" Technique
The Under Dawg is a "reactionary" deep-water bait. When you mark a big fish deep on your graph, cast past the target and let the bait sink on a semi-tight line. Use long, heavy rod sweeps to "pull" the bait through the deep water, followed by a slow fall. The vertical twin tails will flutter on the drop, often triggering a strike from a fish that was otherwise dormant on the bottom.
Note: This is the go-to tool for late-season fishing or mid-summer periods when muskies retreat to the cooler, deeper thermal layers of the lake.
