Clear More Slush in Fewer Passes: Rapala Compact Mega Scoop

Keep your mobility high and your fishing holes clear with the Rapala Compact Mega Scoop. Engineered specifically for active hole-hopping and ice-trolling, this high-capacity skimmer bridges the gap between massive scooping volume and ultra-portable packability. Instead of juggling an awkward, full-length slush ladle across the ice sheet, this condensed tool stows neatly into your pack, sled bucket, or jacket pocket while clearing the deepest slush columns in just a couple of passes.

The highlight of the design is its oversized, fold-in basket head that opens wide to capture maximum slush volume and quickly collapses inward for snag-free transit. Perforated with precision drain holes, it dumps excess surface water instantly while retaining heavy, wet slush chips. Complete with a secure, adjustable wrist tether, the Compact Mega Scoop keeps you moving quickly from hole to hole without worrying about dropping your gear down into the depths.

Key Features

• High-Volume Slush Clearing: Oversized basket design moves massive amounts of ice shavings per plunge, drastically cutting down hole-prep time.

• Smart Fold-In Basket: The scoop head folds flat inward on demand, eliminating bulky storage headaches and preventing snags inside gear bags or sled tubs.

• Ultra-Portable 13.5" Profile: Short-handle geometry makes it effortless to carry directly on your person, holstered in a pocket, or clipped to your ice bibs during fast-paced ice-trolling runs.

• Instant Free-Draining Holes: Precision-engineered hole pattern lets lake water drain away instantly, keeping the scoop light and preventing heavy water weight from bogging you down.

• Integrated Safety Lanyard: Includes an adjustable, heavy-duty wrist cord that stays firmly locked around your glove or mitten to eliminate accidental drops down the hole.

• Sub-Zero Toughness: Molded from durable, cold-resistant composite materials that resist freezing slush buildup and withstand extreme sub-zero hardwater conditions without cracking.
