Red October Twisted Tube (TT10-M): High-Speed Power for Active Muskies

When you need to cover water and trigger aggressive "reaction" strikes, the Red October Twisted Tube (TT10-M) is your premier choice. Unlike traditional tubes that rely on a pulsating tentacle flare, the Twisted Tube features a sleek, streamlined body finished with a massive, high-action curltail. This design is engineered specifically for speed and vibration, making it the ultimate tool for dissecting open water and sparse cover.

The TT10-M is built for the moderate to fast retrieve, creating a frantic swimming motion that mimics a large baitfish trying to escape a predator's reach. Because the action is concentrated in the heavy-duty tail, this bait remains perfectly stable at higher speeds, throwing off a rhythmic thump that muskies can track from a distance.

Performance Features

  • High-Action Curltail: Replaces traditional tentacles with a thick, durable tail that provides constant vibration and a massive swimming profile.

  • Speed-Tuned Tracking: Specifically balanced to handle fast retrieves in open water without rolling or blowing out.

  • TT10-M Mid-Depth Weighting: Optimized for the 4–8 foot zone, keeping your bait in the primary strike zone for active fish.

  • Massive 10" Profile: A substantial silhouette that provides the "big meal" appeal required for trophy-class muskies and pike.

🎣 Pro Tip: The "Burn and Stall" Trigger

The Twisted Tube is most effective when it’s moving, but the bite often happens when it stops. Use a moderate-to-fast retrieve, and every 10-15 feet, give the reel a lightning-fast "burn" of three quick rotations followed by a dead stop. This causes the large curltail to kick violently and then suddenly flutter as the bait stalls. This sudden change in cadence is often the final trigger a following musky needs to close the gap and strike!
