Stealth Tackle HH130 Hybrid Harness Quick Strike Rig
Designed specifically with the musky fisherman in mind, the Stealth Tackle HH130 Hybrid Harness is a premium, American-made quick-strike rig that prioritizes both high hook-up ratios and fish safety. Built with top-tier components, this rig allows you to set the hook immediately upon a strike, ensuring the musky doesn't swallow the bait and facilitating a safer release.
Tournament-Grade Design
The Hybrid Harness is engineered to "rip free" of the sucker and move directly into the musky's jaw the moment you set the hook. This mechanism provides a secure connection while protecting the health of the trophy fish you are targeting.
Key Features:
-
Made in the USA: Hand-crafted with premium components for maximum reliability under heavy stress.
-
Quick-Strike Efficiency: Eliminates the need for long wait times; once the musky grabs the sucker, you are ready to set the hook.
-
Hybrid Hook Configuration: Each rig features a specialized face hook for the sucker’s lip and premium trebles with a bent leg for secure placement.
-
Fish Safety Focused: By allowing for a hook set in less than one minute, this rig prevents lethal deep-hooking.
Available Configurations:
-
Regular: Features a face hook and one premium treble.
-
Large: Features a face hook and one premium treble.
-
Double: Features a face hook and two premium trebles for maximum coverage on larger baits.
Rigging Instructions:
-
Secure the Front: Place the small single face hook into the sucker's upper lip.
-
Position the First Treble: Insert the treble hook into the sucker's back with the bent hook leg pointing down. Place it slightly off-center and just in front of the dorsal fin.
-
Position the Second Treble (Double Rig Only): For the Double Harness, place the second treble hook further back towards the tail.
-
The Hook Set: When a musky strikes, position your boat directly over the fish so your line is as vertical as possible. Set the hook straight up and set it hard!
💡 Pro Tip
It is vital for the safety of the fish to set the hook as quickly as possible—ideally in less than one minute. Waiting too long may result in the musky swallowing the sucker, which can be fatal for the fish.
