Strike King HC KVD Splash Jr. Topwater Lure

Trigger explosive surface strikes with the Strike King Hardcore KVD Splash Jr., a high-performance topwater lure designed by Kevin VanDam to mimic panicked baitfish. Engineered with a cupped mouth and an aerodynamically balanced profile, the Splash Jr. delivers incredible versatility—allowing you to spit water, chug along the surface, or effortlessly walk the dog.

Despite its compact size, this downsized popper generates maximum surface disruption, making it an exceptional choice for clear water, pressured bass, or matching small forage. Fitted with premium treble hooks, including a feather-dressed rear hook for added lifelike action at rest, the KVD Splash Jr. draws fish from deep structure and drives reaction bites when other topwaters fail.

Pro Tip: In ultra-clear or calm water, use a cadence of two quick twitches followed by a long pause. Most strikes occur while the lure is completely motionless, where the feathered rear tail hook continues to undulate in the water column and trigger hesitant bass into committing.
