Thill Nite Brite Float: Light Up the Night

Don’t let the sunset end your fishing trip. The Thill Nite Brite Float is the ultimate dual-purpose light-up bobber, designed for superior visibility during late-evening and night fishing. With its center-hole slip design and bright LED glow, you can target walleye, crappie, and catfish in the dark with precision.

These floats aren't just for night—they work perfectly as high-visibility daytime floats, too. When the sun goes down, simply activate the battery and transform your rig into a glowing beacon that is impossible to miss.

Available Sizes & Colors

We stock the Nite Brite in two lengths and three high-visibility LED colors to suit your preference and water conditions:

Size Red Green Yellow
4" LF100 LF200 LF300
5" LF101 LF201 LF301

Instructions for Use

The Nite Brite is a Slip Float and a Fixed Float in one! Use the following steps to rig and light it:

  1. To Light: Unscrew the top cap of the float. Insert the Thill Nite Brite battery/light into the holder, pushing the bulb end down to turn the light on. Screw the top cap back on firmly.

  2. To Rig as a Slip Float: Thread your line through the center hole of the float. Use a bobber stop and bead above the float to set your depth.

  3. To Rig as a Fixed Float: Use the clip at the bottom of the float to attach it directly to your line at a specific depth.

  4. To Turn Off: Unscrew the cap and pull up on the lighted end of the battery to deactivate the LED.

Pro Tip: The "Battery Saver" Storage

To maximize the life of your Nite Brite batteries, always remove the battery/light stick from the float body when you're done for the night. Moisture can sometimes get trapped inside the cap; drying the battery and storing it in a small, airtight container will prevent corrosion and ensure your float glows just as bright on your next trip.
